DAY 1

Meet the Trip leader at 06:00 a.m. at Malta Int. Airport to check-in for our Ryanair flight departing at 08.10 a.m. Upon our arrival at Zagreb Airport, our driver will be waiting to take us to the hotel for check-in after settling in, After tour at the Zagreb old Town. Includes cold war tunnels, upper and lower town, main square, funicular, St. Marc square and Christmas Market.

 

DAY 2

A fter breakfast, we offer you a wonderful day excursion as we explore Rastoke and Plitvice Lakes. Depart from Zagreb and head to the scenic Lika region. Our first stop is the charming watermill village of Rastoke, where the Slunjčica and Korana rivers meet. Here, you'll have the opportunity to stroll through the town and admire its unique rural architecture.

Next, the tour takes us to Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia’s oldest and most visited national park, recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979. Over centuries, water has sculpted 16 crystal-clear lakes connected by spectacular waterfalls.

You'll enjoy the outstanding natural beauty of the forests and lakes, and take an electric boat ride across Lake Kozjak. Learn fascinating insights about karst formations and the diverse wildlife inhabiting the park. Breathe in the fresh air and marvel at the breathtaking views. Throughout the day, our guide will accompany you and your small group, sharing intriguing stories about the areas you visit and addressing any questions you might have.

 

 

 DAY 3

Today, you have the we join the tour leader for an unforgettable day excursion to Ljubljana and Lake Bled in Slovenia. The journey begins with a pickup from your centrally located hotel in Zagreb. Relax in the vehicle as you drive through picturesque landscapes to reach Slovenia.

First, explore the Slovenian capital, Ljubljana and Christmas Market, through a guided walking tour that highlights its diverse architectural styles, rich history, and the iconic dragon bridge. Enjoy a ride on the funicular up to Ljubljana Castle, where you can soak in the stunning panoramic views of the city. Discover both the prominent attractions and some of the city's hidden gems.
 
Next, make your way to the charming town of Bled, nestled on the shores of the beautiful glacial lake. Marvel at the sight of the medieval Bled Castle, perched majestically atop a steep cliff, 130 meters above the lake. Enjoy the panoramic vistas of the Julian Alps and the picturesque Church of the Assumption of Mary on the island.

You'll have the opportunity to get closer to the lake with a leisurely walk or opt for a ride on a traditional Pletna boat. Don't miss the chance to try Bled's famous cream cake or enjoy a refreshing swim before returning to Zagreb.

 

DAY 4

After breakfast, you have the option to join the tour leader for a fascinating day excursion to Northern Croatia, featuring castles, and city exploration. This unforgettable tour will immerse you in the rich history of northern Croatia. The first stop is the Museum of Neanderthals, where you'll delve into ancient European history and explore the life of primitive peoples whose remains were discovered in the region. Visit Trakošćan Castle, the most beautiful and most visited castle in Croatia. Enjoy a guided tour to learn about its captivating history and explore the permanent exhibition showcasing the life of Northern Croatia's medieval nobility. Continue to the city of Varaždin, the largest city in northern Croatia with over 900 years of history. On a guided tour, you'll discover the city's past, learn about the conflicts between the nobility and citizens of the Free Royal City, and visit the Old Town and the charming medieval streets adorned with Baroque palaces and villas. The final stop is Varaždinske Toplice, where you'll explore an archaeological site from the Roman era, more than 2,400 years old. Through a guided tour, discover the history of thermal baths, ancient spa tourism, and the customary rights of the local population. After transfer to Zagreb Airport for our flight back to Malta, departing at 20:30 arriving in Malta at 22:25.
